KZN U14 HOCKEY TEAM WIN GOLD AT SA SCHOOL SPORTS CHAMPS

Gabrielle Benkenstein, Sisanda Jezile and Storm Veenstra represented KZN in the u14 Hockey Team that took part in the SA School Sports Championships 2017 Winter Games in Durban from the 9 - 14 July. The team were placed 1st, beating Free State 3 - 0 in the final, to win gold!

DEBATING NEWS

Katekile Dakile, Georgia Lupton-Smith, Rachel Randall, Esmé Thornhill-Davis and Georgia Schaefer participated in the KZN Schools' Debating Championships during the school holiday. Esmé and Rachel's team won the Junior competition and Georgia Schaefer and Esmé were both selected for the KZN Junior Team. Congratulations, girls!

BRONZE MEDALS FOR SA JUNIOR NETBALL TEAM IN ISRAEL

Over the holidays, Jodi Lee represented South Africa in the Junior Netball Team at the Maccabiah Games (Jewish Olympics), in Israel. It is the 3rd largest sporting event in the world, hosting 10 000 participants from 80 Countries. Jodi was Vice Captain for her team that finished in 3rd place overall, returning home with bronze medals. It was an incredible experience, with lots of memories made. ST ANNE'S GYMNAST PLACED 1ST AT INTER-CLUB COMPETITION

Hannah Haines competed in the Stellenbosch International Inter-Club Competition at the University of Stellenbosch in the holidays where she was placed First overall in Level 9 / Over 15. There were seven strong contenders in this age group from all over South Africa and Hannah’s extensive fitness and routines training really paid off. She is pictured here between her two coaches, Robyn Baker and Yvonne Garland.
