HALF TERM - 13 - 16 OCTOBER

Please note that girls can only leave after prize giving, which is expected to finish at 12h00. Flights from King Shaka Airport can be booked from 15h00 onwards. Return flights to King Shaka Airport should arrive no later than 18h00 on Monday, 16 October. Flights from Pmb Airport can be booked from 14h00 onwards and return flights should arrive no late than 19h00 on Monday, 16 October. PLEASE NOTE that weekly and termly boarders need to be back in school at 20h00. Flight details can be emailed to enaicker@stannes.co.za. Early departures require permission from Mr Arguile. The deadline for transport requests is the 05 OCTOBER and no requests will be allowed during the week leading up to half of term. Please refer to the transport policy, which can be found under resources.

WEEKEND BUSES

Please note that the departure time on a Monday for the Pavilion and Hillcrest bus is 05h45 and the Ballito bus is 05h10. Please note that the bus will leave promptly at this time and that your daughter needs to get to the bus 10-15 minutes before departure. The bus will not wait for any late comers and will not stop en route to St Anne's.

IN CHAPEL THIS MORNING

Chapel this morning was a belated celebration of Spring Day. Susan told us about the Green Anglicans who take a special interest in environmental matters. They have proclaimed September ‘Creation Month’. By way of illustrating how creation is unified by all manner of unexpected interdependencies, we were shown an extraordinary documentary that looked at the consequences of reintroducing wolves to Yellowstone National Park. We concluded with a psalm of celebration followed by ‘Morning has Broken’. Watch the documentary at the following link:
