DEBTORS CONTROLLER
Start date: 1 October 2026
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE SHOULD:
- have a Diploma or certificate in Accounting
- have a minimum of 10 years’ experience in debtor management, in a school would be preferred
- have strong organisational and communication skills
- have an ability to work accurately under pressure and meet deadlines
- be proficient in MS Excel and Sage Pastel systems
- have a knowledge of, and experience with, the legal requirements of POPIA & PAIA
- ability to handle queries professionally and maintain positive relationships with parents, girls and staff
- be able to assist in cash flow forecasting and reporting for finance meetings
- be able to handle sensitive financial and student information with discretion
This is a full-time role. The required working hours are 08h00 – 16h00, Monday to Friday. Due to the nature of the role it will be a requirement, on occasion, to work after hours. Leave is 25 days which are to be taken during school holidays.
