The St Anne’s Teacher Internship Programme offers a uniquely immersive introduction to life in a vibrant school community. Interns are actively involved across a broad range of academic, boarding and co-curricular spaces, gaining hands-on experience while contributing to the many moments that shape school life.
PROSPECTIVE INTERNS SHOULD:
- be at least 21 years of age
- be studying towards teaching at least one of the following: Life Orientation, Visual Arts, Consumer Studies, isiZulu, Afrikaans, French, Life Science, Physical Science, Economics, Accounting and Maths
- be physically fit and able to participate in and accompany pupils on outdoor adventures
- be prepared to live in single accommodation on campus, and to assume responsibilities and duties in the boarding houses. St Anne’s is a boarding school and preference will be given to female students
- have a valid/recent criminal clearance certificate
- be able to commit to a 1-year contract
WHAT IS EXPECTED FROM YOU:
- be involved in all activities of school life, academic, boarding and extra-curricular activities
- be a senior student studying towards a career in teaching
